Patrolman Otto Mosholder By: P.O. Thomas Armelli & Det. James T. Farmer
Cleveland Police Dept. Officer Mosholder was wounded and Patrolman Stewart escaped unharmed. Both suspects vanished without a trace. Officer Mosholder was unable to return to work and after a lingering and debilitating illness, died as a result of an infection in his wound on December 10, 1936. Unfortunately, neither assailant was ever found. Otto Mosholder's name is inscribed on the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Wall, Washington, D.C. panel 45, west wall, line 15.
